19th century Swiss cylinder music box, paper label to the interior lid reads 'Fabrique De Geneve, and numbered 21431 - 1255, rosewood case, size overall 59 x 25cm
There are some teeth damaged on the left hand side, and generally the start of rust and tarnishing. The music box appears to play, including striking of the bells and drum, but would likely benefit from servicing. Please see condition report pictures.
As mechanical instruments contain many complex parts we would therefore not make any representations as to their workings and ultimately all lots are ‘sold as seen’. It is always advised that these be taken for a general service as further repair works may be necessary. This would be the sole responsibility of the bidder.
