* * After Pierre-Philippe Thomire (1751-1843), a French Empire ormolu and rouge marble centrepiece converted from a mantel clock, the ormolu column modelled as The Three Graces, beneath a cut glass dish, raised on a marble triform plinth with ormolu strapwork marks and central foliate paterae where the dial was originally placed, 37cm diameter, 97cm high

Bowl with a few small nicks and chips to the underside of the rim, mount that it sits in showing soldering marks at the joints, remainder of the ormolu stem of a good bright colour, slightly matted in places with a few verdigris spots, base in good order, central paterae mount is a fair match but does show slight gaps through to where the dial once was, hinged brass door to the back.
