1920’s Black Forest long cased clock with a somewhat rare carving of William Tell to the top, seated lion to the base and ivy and floribunda carvings throughout. Bevel edged glass door and deco hammered pewter dial. Triple weight movement, musical strike on a gong, in need of new suspension spring. One slight chip to carving as photographed. Comes with original purchase receipt, 22nd June 1922 with later U.K. customs import stamp dated 2nd June 1927. Auctioneer to submit best bid.
