An early 20th century brooch in Suffragette colours, designed as a central claw set amethyst, within a border of twenty split seed pearls and twenty emeralds, with safety chain, gross weight 9.5gms, 3.2cm wide, 2.8cm high
The brooch appears in good condition, with only very minor surface scratching and tarnishing to the yellow metal reverse, hinged bar clasp working well, safety chain possibly a later addition, claw settings throughout relatively uniform with only some slightly offset commensurate with age and usage.
