Celtic Artefact Group (3). Circa 1st century BCE-1st century CE. Copper-alloy, 50mm x 21mm - 33mm x 16mm. A single eye type belt fitting with a raised centre boss detailed with concentric circles. A second belt fitting, this example being a double-eye type. The outer frame is formed of trumpet-like scrolls that enclose two raised bosses, both with traces of red and green enamel. A toggle of the same style and design with traces of red and green enamel. Found near Scarborough, purchased, April 2002. R.J. Widdowson. ex. Private UK collection.
