A 19thC Chinese export black lacquer tea chest, top decorated with faded gilt figures and foliate with a lift out lead box decorated with oriental figures and foliate to lid. The brass lock stamped "Pathnt".
34cm w x 28cm d x 25cm h.
With replacement handles and hinges. Lacquered sides with crackle and some loss. Gilt decoration faded. Lead box with dents.
