Auctioneer's notes: This is a lovely single owner Rolex Double Red Sea Dweller, belonging to Dave Townson since 1977. Working for Comex working on the offshore oil rigs in the North Sea. Photos of the owner wearing the watch attached.
Condition report: An honest example showing its life but having been maintained by Rolex throughout. Comes with a Rolex service receipt from 2006, but inner case back engravings show it was also service by Rolex London in 1990, which is where we believe the hands were replaced. Comes with the Seahorse outer box, Rolex green inner box, one spare link, Rolex swing tag with the matching serial number, papers dated 1977.
