A SILVER FRUIT BOWL, a raised circular form bowl with gadrooned and shell detail to the rim and two double scrolling snake handles, approximate bowl width 280mm, knopped stem with feather plume detail, raised on four paw feet, approximate height 192mm, hallmarked 'James Dixon & Sons Ltd' Sheffield 1938, approximate gross weight 1978.9 grams, 63.62 ozt, (condition report: general moderate wear, scratches to bowl, no indenting seen, build-up of silver polish all over, overall condition good)
