A VICTORIAN SILVER-MOUNTED TORTOISESHELL JEWELLERY BOX
by George Fox, London 1892, oval with a hinged cover and scroll legs, applied throughout with silver floral swags and with a vacant cartouche. 15.5cm long
The marks are clear. There is a screw missing from the back of the hinge. The hinge remains firm, and the cover opens and closes well. There are a couple of small chips to the tortoiseshell around the base.
