A worksplate SENTINEL 5-ton steam waggon No DS 1596, Alley & MacLellan Ltd, Shrewsbury. Fitted with a tipping body and designed to haul a trailer. New in 1917 to the War Department at an unknown location. Sold in 1919 to Hampshire County Council and given the registration number HO 2569. Sold in 1925 to S. Clegg & Sons of Southampton and sold again in 1931 to a buyer in the Hereford area. No further trace. (Postage Band: B)
