A TURKISH CRIMEA MEDAL, SARDINIAN ISSUE TO THE 30TH REGIMENT. A Turkish Crimea Medal, Sardinian Issue (La Crimea) named to No 4221 Hugh McMurray 30th Regt. McMurray is also recorded as serving in Jersey and Aldershot. He served for 21 years and 5 days, he was also entitled to a Crimea medal with Sebastopol clasp. The 30th (Cambridgeshire) Regiment of Foot later became the 1st Battalion, East Lancashire regiment. Mounted for display with copied research.
