H.R.H. Mary, Princess Royal and Countess of Harewood (1897-1965, only daughter of King George V and Queen Mary) Letter to her son Gerald Lascelles dated June 20th 1938 including 'Between 9 and 10 of us rode each morning from 10 to 11.30 with Uncle Bertie [King George VI], Lilibet [Queen Elizabeth II] and Margaret in the Park, it was looking very lovely but the going was terribly hard...', another dated May 17th 1934 including 'I went with Grannie and Grand Papa [King George and Queen Mary]. They came to Grand Papa's box. I enjoyed the concert very much', along with other letters dating from the 1930s including one describing a walk with Lt Baden Powell.
