H.M. Queen Elizabeth II ('Lilibet' signed), a handwritten and signed letter to Gerald Lascelles, on Sandringham headed paper dated January 1963, regarding the ill health of Gerald's son Henry including 'What a very worrying time you both must have had but I feel sure that Dr Williams has been a great source of comfort to you for he seems to me to be such a wise and friendly doctor', and signed 'Love from Lilibet'.

Where the paper has been folded, at the paper edges the line is only just starting to split (less than 1mm each side).
There are some stains to both sides of the paper.
