Sir Joseph Edgar Boehm (1834-1890. A bronze figure of a Grenadier, signed J.E.BOEHM. SCR. and inscribed GRENADIER, 1st GUARDS,
height 13.25in.
CONDITION: Overall of a dull blackish brown tone but rubbed through to a lighter colour at the extremities, looks like the figure has been dropped at some point and there is a break running just above the knee of his right leg and further fracture through the rifle just above the lock, otherwise he leans slightly to the left, with loose joints to the plinth.
