A Chinese iron red and gilt blue and white stem cup Jiajing six-character mark but probably later Decorated with gilt chrysanthemums and foliage on an iron red ground, the inside with underglaze blue flowers within a diaper cell border. 13.5cm dia, 11cm high Provenance:Private West Midlands vendor, the property of a gentleman. Condition:Minor rubbing to the gilt in places. Tiny firing fracture to the foot rim. Minor glaze wear to the inside.
