Japanese cloisonne vase, late Meiji (1868-1912), ovoid form decorated with Chinese cranes against a deep blue ground, height 18cm

There is some bruising visible to the body resulting in cracks to the black ground at the neck, on the body running through the main image of the cranes and slightly above the foot rim. The vase still sits flat.
