"Ultra rare colourway" set of Minton & Co Majolica lettuce jugs of lead glazed earthenware with raised lettuce leaves grounded in rich cobalt blue and brown, the handle is decorated with ears of Wheat. Made by Minton & Co Stoke-On-Trent 1856 with diamond registration marks to the base. * We can only find one other jug with the same colour way and it is in the V&A Museum! * Large jug has a chip to the base and a small chip to the top rim the smaller jug has two small very minor nibbles to the top rim, height of tall jug 24cm, width of 18cm, height of smaller 21cm width 16cm
