Florentine carved gilt picture frame, 19th Century, aperture size 53.5cm x 50cm
There are small losses to the extremities. Some of the gilt has worn through due to poor storage or rubbing. The whole frame is in a dry state. Old woodworm flight holes are visible in places. There are cracks at the joints and a loss to the scallop moulding on the frame. Overall it would benefit from some restoration but is in an untouched condition.
