A George II silver lidded tankard, having domed cover with scrolled thumbpiece, the tapering cylindrical body banded with 'S' shaped handle, on raised base, London 1738, weight: 432g, 15cm high (to top of scrolling thumbpiece) monogrammed
Condition report: a little wobbly on a flat surface, dented foot rim, the hinge cover a little loose but attached and operative, one particular dent to the edge of the lid, some small dents to dome of lid, a few dents to the body and wear of age, needs a clean.
