An Edwardian mantel clock in the form of a miniature longcase clock. The arched timber case is finished to resemble satinwood and is decorated with polychrome swags, garlands, cornucopia and floral arrangements. The arched hood is flanked by turned columns and the base has paw feet. The French simple train movement has a lever platform escapement and a 9cm diam. enamel dial with Arabic numerals and brass hands. The clock stands 51cm tall.
The movement is complete and working. The dial and glass are undamaged. the case is in generally good condition apart from a poor repair to the head arch moulding and some slight loss of veneer to the rear of the hood arch.
