We are delighted to offer these original darkroom prints from the "Casserley Collection". The negative collection was sold at an earlier auction and these prints are from Richard Casserley's extensive collection. Most of the prints are signed on the reverse and are fully captioned including the negative number. They include R.M. Casserley and H.C. Casserley prints. There may be minor duplication. Rare opportunity. Approx. 145, black & white darkroom prints, postcard size (includes a few contact prints), roughly half are Casserley prints the remainder are from the collection but from other sources.This selection features locomotives and rolling stock of the "Cork & Macroom Direct Railway" and "Cork, Bandon & South Coast Railway" in IRELAND, plus stations, views and infrastructure. The selection includes a facsimile map of the lines. There are 20 colour postcards of West Cork's Railways included. The photos date from the 1930's to the 1960's. Locations include: Cork Albert Quay, Waterfall, Cork Rock Savage, Upton, Bantry, Clonakilty, Skibbereen and others. Well captioned. No copyright, sample illustrated.
