A sonnet sequence written in prison while serving a 6 month sentence for libeling Mr. Winston Churchill; together with T.S. Eliot: 'For Lancelot Andrewes', NY, Doubleday, 1929, 1st edition, original cloth silvered (spine faded, leaves with faint tidemark), and Mary Grierson: 'Donald Francis Tovey. A Biography based on Letters', 1952, 1st edition, Donald Francis Tovey Autograph Letter Signedtipped in at front, 3 1/2pp, undated but circa 1914, content re the German composer Fritz Busch and his brother, the violinist Adolf Busch, and news of them concerning outbreak of war and military service etc, original cloth gilt.
