An early/mid 20th century certified sapphire and diamond cluster ring, the mixed cut sapphire within a surround of twelve old cut diamonds, set in white metal milgrain setting edge leading to yellow metal shank, stamped '18ct' and possibly 'plat' ring size M1/2, with a 'Gem and Pearl Laboratory' certificate stating the natural sapphire to weigh 3.53ct, with no evidence of heat treatment and origin opinion to be Sri Lankan/Madagascan

Head of the ring 13mm long.
All diamonds are present, there are a mixture of old cut of diamonds, so may not all be original.
All diamonds are bright, lively and well matched in colour.
Minor inclusions seen to the diamonds (under x10 loupe)
A few diamonds shows minor fluorescence under UV light.
Setting edges are all in good condition with minor areas of wear.
A very minor surface scratch/nibble can be seen to the lower right hand side of the sapphire (seen with x10 loupe)
Inclusions are present to sapphire (seen with x10 loupe)
Signs of minor wear to the under bezel commensurate with age and wear.
Marks are worn to the interior of the shank.
Signs of minor wear and surface scratches seen to the shank, commensurate with age and wear.
