19th century English porcelain ornithological green ground dessert service, each painted with a specimen bird perched on a branch, titled in iron red to reverse, within gilt scroll cartouches and green borders, comprising a two-handled footed comport (cracked and repaired), one medium sized and two smaller comports (one cracked and repaired), four low footed comports and two plates, iron red pattern no.8187
Four low footed comport - One cracked to base and to rim. Others all small cracks to bases. Large comport - cracked and repaired. smaller comports- One snapped of base and repaired, other cracked and repaired. plate- crazing to underside. Most pieces have wear and minor loss of pattern in spots. Please see attached images.
