WORLD COINAGE: An 1861 "Seated Liberty Half Dollar" San Francisco mint, small Chinese chop mark etched to one side, chop mark under eagle claw but overall bright with flattening wear particularly to the edge
Provenance: These coins were collected by The Late J.D. Thompson who was awarded the China War Medal in the Hankow Volunteers in 1900 (medal sold in September) and were found in the same box as his medals
