Black lacquered and chinoiserie decorated eight day longcase clock with five pillar movement, the 12" brass arched dial signed Fran Sumner, Chelsea on an arched shaped silvered plate to the matted centre with subsidiary seconds dial and calendar aperture, with large strike/silent dial to the arch, the case with long rounded arched moulded door decorated overall with figures, animals and birds in pagoda landscapes, the hood surmounted by a rounded moulded cornice with three gilded ball finials, 92" high (pendulum and two brass cased weights)
General condition appears to be reasonable with the movement and dial in good clean condition, however the case does have some paint loss especially to the sides, the front lacquer panels are still in reasonably good order, the top finial is missing.
