£200 - £300
A pair of Meissen porcelain dishes, 19th century, decorated in relief with scrolling convolvulus flowers, against a cobalt ground, shaped rim, underglaze blue crossed swords verso, each 28cm diameter (2)
Both pieces show ingrained dirt to the white floral mouldings, surface wear throughout, and the odd small glazing fault. One shows a hairline crack to the rim approximately 6cm long running diagonally from the rim. The other shows no obvious chips or cracks and rings clear when pinged. Both would benefit from cleaning.
