BAHADUR SINGH OF BUNDI (1920-1977): silver gelatin photographic portrait by Kinsey, 3/4 length, image approx 24 x 17.5cm, signed by subject lower centre in blue ink and dated 1946, housed in contemporary Indian white metal frame with gilt armorial upper centre, glazed. (1)
Provenance: gifted to Air Marshall Sir Charles Roderick Carr, KBE, CB, DFC, AFC (1891-1971).
Bahudur Singh was the last official ruler of the Princely State of Bundi, serving with Probyn's Horse during WWII, seeing action in Burma and awarded the military cross for his services.
