Couaillet frères, a small French silver and tortoiseshell carriage clock the eight-day duration timepiece movement having a platform lever escapement and stamped with the hand-setting arrow for the blanc roulant maker Couaillet frères, the round white enamel dial having black Roman numerals and blued steel spade hands, the tortoiseshell case with silver mounts and handle hallmarked for London 1924 and stamped with the silversmiths mark C & A, possibly Corke & Apthorp of Northampton Square, London, height 10cm/8.5cm, handle up/down.
