A GEORGE III SILVER LOVING CUP, with a ribbed girdle and punched bands of leaves, chased with a foliate cartouche engraved with initials, the lower section spirally lobed and fluted, strap handles, maker's mark rubbed, London 1770, approximate weight 7.8ozt, 244 grams, height 13cm (condition: one handle split horizontally at join to lower part of cup, the other handle with vertical split at join to the upper part of cup, both handles mishapen, base not flat, several large dents around base, initials 'J*H' engraved on the base)
