This Ottoman calligraphic panel features a striking tughra, an elaborate imperial cipher traditionally used by sultans as a signature of authority and power. Executed in bold black ink, the central composition is surrounded by delicate Qur'anic verses and invocations meticulously inscribed in elegant naskh and thuluth scripts.
