A JOINED OAK PANELLED CHEST, late 17th century and later, the hinged plank lid opening to a void interior, the fascia with four panels each carved with an arch over a stylised flower, within strapwork banding, on corresponding stiles, 57 1/2" w x 21 1/4" d x 31 1/4" h (Est. plus 24% premium inc. VAT)
Been through a workshop and repolished, also later carved and now more a decorator?s piece. New hinges and bearers to lid and opening of same altered.
