A VERY LARGE CHINESE OR JAPANESE SILK EMBROIDERED WALL HANGING, 19/20TH CENTURY. Of complete rectangular form, peach ground depicting cranes, sparrows and butterflies with leafy chrysanthemum stems, all within a floral border. Mounted on a yellow backing with wooden hanging panel at the top. 270cm x 107cm.
Faded background with minor tears in places to peach ground. The stitching to the decoration is good overall. Backing also in good condition. Can be hung or mounted on a wall.
