Good afternoon.
Thank you for the message. We have checked the item all over and cannot see a makers mark. It came from a property where the former owner was well connected in the studio pottery world. There were examples of Leach Pottery and Shoji Hamada plus West African potters at the property. We suspect this lamp base was made by a friend of or former student of the previous owner.
