A LARGE YELLOW METAL HAIR WORK BROOCH, of an oval form, inlayed with brown hair work detailed with yellow metal wire and small pearls, possibly milky chalcedony backing, collet set within a yellow metal mount with scrolling and bead work surround, approximate dimensions length 61.8mm x width 48.2mm, yellow metal reverse engraved with the initials possibly EB, fitted with a brooch pin and C clasp, approximate gross weight 20.5 grams, with an additional piece of loose hair work (condition report: repair work visible to the reverse at either end of the brooch pin, general light wear in keeping with age)
