A few imperf classics without gum but otherwise appears mint to around 1939 and never hinged afterwards. Ceres & Napoleon perf issues rather well represented incl 1862 perf 14x13½ set, 1863-70 range to 10c, 20c, 1870-71 4c, 5c, 30c, 1871-76 1c, 2c, 4c, 5c, thin figures 15c, 25c (2, different), thick figures 10c, 15c, 1876-1900 Peace & Commerce good collection to 1fr & 2fr, and few missing stamps thereafter, note 'Blanc' & 'Mouchon' issues largely complete, Sowers likewise, War Orphan, Sinking Funds such as 1928 1f.50+8f50 blues (4, incl different types), 1929-1933 high values with different types, and so on with very few missing stamps, the modern period replete with miniature sheets & sheetlets, booklets and the rest, Air Posts & other 'back of the book' incl good collection of Postage Dues, Precancels (Preobliteres) near- complete from 1922 'Blanc' onwards with many better, Franchise Militaire "F.M." apparently complete incl 1940 full sheetlet, Service stamps Unesco, Council of Europe etc. Impressive (1000's) Lot 499 [c]
