WW1 BWM and Victory Medal to 14-957 Pte E. Squires York & Lanc R. about very fine. With 3 copied pages of service record, edgar Squires was born in Barnsley, enlisted in 14th Bn (2nd Barnsley Pals) 22/3/15, sailed for Egypt 28/12/15 but because they did not dock until 1916 only issued a pair, landed France 10/3/16, suffered GSW to chest June and evacuated to UK 20/6/16 and discharged 16/6/17.
Sold with German K98 dagger by Clemen & Jung, Third Reich Mother's Cross in silver, ASC cap badge, range of coins (15) including GB 1889 double florin, 1895 half crown, Prussian 1861 thaler etc in mixed condition. (½B)
