Pair of George III silver covered entree dishes, by T & J Guest and Josh Craddock, London 1807, each of rectangular form with ring bayonet handle, the covers engraved with a crest, 29.5cm x 21.5cm, gross weight approx. 3.37kg

Neither handles are marked other than numbered 1 and 4 on the underside. The covers being numbered 1 and 2.
The bases are numbered 2 and 3; no. 2 having numerous knife marks on the inside, a dent on the underside of one of the corners and a small dent to the corner of the moulding of the base.
On the covers, one has a compression visible on the inside from the handle and a small associated dent. The same has other small dents to the corners. There is some rubbing to the hallmarks (see images). Surface scratches consistent with use and age.
