A GOOD GEORGE III SILVER CHOCOLATE POT by Fuller White, decorated in relief with repousse foliage, trailing vines and foliage. London 1764. 957 grams. 28cm x 22 cm. Note: Son of Fuller White late of Great Hallenbury, in the County of Essex deceased, apprenticed to Edward Feline 8 January 1734 on payment of £30. Free, 5 December 1744. First mark entered as largeworker, 31 December 1744. Address: Golden Ball and Pearl in Noble Street. Second mark in partnership with John Fray, 4 March 1745, same address. The partnership apparently dissolved by 4 January 1748, when Fray entered a seperate mark at Foster Lane. White's third mark alone, 9 January 1750/1. Fourth mark, 5 July 1758. Livery, March 1750. Died 2 July 1775. Heal records him as plateworker, Golden Ball and Pearl, Noble Street, 1742-3; and with John Fray at same address, 1750. He appears alone as plateworker, Noble Street, in the Park. Report list 1773.
