South German enamelled pewter mounted glass flask (schnappsflache), Swiss or German, 18th Century, canted rectangular section decorated with polychrome floral sprays, pewter mount and neck, height 17.5cm
Provenance: Ex Maria Bayer Collection, bearing a paper label
The condition generally is good. There are manufacturing faults, particularly around the base, one in particular is a blister in the corner of one of the facets; this does not appear to have blown into the flask.
