By Canadian / Packet (M.10). 1854 (Aug 10) Stampless cover from Kingston to England carried by Canadian Steam Navigation Co. "Charity", a "6d Stg" handstamp crossed out, endorsed "over ½oz" and charged 1/-, backstamped "PKT. LETTER / LIVERPOOL" datestamp (P.10) and "BY - CANADIAN / PACKET" both in green. Tabeart only records this single example of the Canadian Packet handstamp in green, fine and very scarce in this colour. Photo on Page 54.
