Framed aquatint 'Attente Des Barques' (waiting for the boats) pencil signed & numbered 205 by Manuel Robbe (1872-1936) frame size 30" x 25". Before 1914, Robbe completed a large number of aquatints in colour as well as in black and white, and for his excellence received a Gold Medal at the 1900 Universal Exhibition. During World War I, he was a pilot.
The work of Manuel Robbe is held in major collections and museums worldwide.
