A 19th century Grand Tour Italian mosaic plaque - the circular plaque with metal edge mount, possibly originally used as a table top, depicting an urn of garden flowers, on a black slate ground, 31.25cm diameter.
* Condition: Two tiny losses to the lowest right hand flower and another to the socle of the urn. Very small old chip to slate at left hand edge. Overall in good condition. Old mounting holes to reverse have large flaked areas around them due to removal of the old fittings, and a few small chips to edge on the reverse.
