An early 20th Century cast iron novelty nutcracker titled ' Tough Nut' in the form of a sailor sitting on a beehive container. Has impressed patent number to the reverse '22795' and retains much of its original paintwork. The sprung head pushes down to crack the nut. W 12cm, D 10cm, H 20cm.
