A group of Furness Railway signal lever plates from Plumpton Junction box between Grange Over Sands and Ulverston. a) 8, FROM PRIORY TO SIDINGS, 6¾", b) GONG TO ENGINEERS CABIN, 4½", c) 16, UP PRIORY MAIN, TURNTABLE, 4½". Each engraved brass, with brackets to the rear. Plumpton was the junction for Windermere Lakeside and the Conishead Priory branch, the latter closing in 1916 though a short section to Bardsea Works was retained until 1994.
