A tin containing approximately 200 standard-size UK and foreign topographical postcards, about 30 modern cards, a lettercard of Ryde, some snapshots (mini cards in packs) and four tear-out booklets of French postcards (though not all are complete). The UK cards include four real photographic views of the German submarine beached at Hastings, some Scottish scenic views, a few printed and RP street scenes, including Syderstone in Norfolk; and the foreign cards are mainly of Belgium, with some of Japan and two or three other countries. Most of the cards are in good condition, but some have the usual minor faults associated with cards this old, such as small corner creases and edge wear.
