Royal interest - Photographic print of H.M. Queen Mary of Teck seated with T,R.H. Princess Margaret and Princess Elizabeth (later Queen Elizabeth II) stood either side, annotated by Queen Mary in blue ink 'Lilibet', 'Grannie Mary', 'Margaret' '1944, taken during a family gathering to mark the 18th birthday of Elizabeth, and verso a message in blue ink handwritten by Queen Mary (wife of George V): 'To darling Gerald & many thanks for your interesting letter, so glad your Parents are spending Xmas with me'.

Private collection of Angela Lascelles (wife of The Hon. Gerald Lascelles, First Cousin of Queen Elizabeth II) and thence by descent.
