A LARGE JAPANESE POLISHED BRONZE VASE, 19/20TH CENTURY. Heavily cast of pear shape with ornate rim. Marked to base with 'Horyu-ji temple'. 42cm tall.
Minor pitting in areas to body. One 2cm hole to body but probably not damage, perhaps in the casting process.
