A late 19c American spring driven Vienna Regulator in glazed walnut case with fluted columns flanking the front door, an architectural pediment above and a tapered base below inlaid with flowers. The open spring movement strikes on a gong and has a wood-rod pendulum with brass bob. the 19cm dia two piece painted metal dial has Roman numerals and Maltese cross hands. 114cms h.

Case in good condition apart from small amount of damage at bottom of base. Glasses good, dial in reasonable condition. Movement seems complete and ticks but unwilling to strike without some attention.
