A late 19th century Chinese hardwood & mother of pearl inlaid stationery box, the lift-up lid enclosing a sectioned interior, 36cms wide.

There are very minor losses to the inlaid decoration overall, minor loss to the bottom front central foliate area. There are two minor old splits to he top front right corner; minor losses to the corners of the front flap and also to the back corners. There are small losses to the inlay to an area to the left hand side and a small split and associated losses to the inlay to the right hand edge at the base of the hinge to the right hand side and a loss to the inlay close to the repaired right foot on the side panel. Very good overall condition and key present.
